o  Replacing worn exterior light fixtures

o  Adding attractive seasonal planters

Once buyers walk through the door, they are looking for signs that the home has been maintained. Before you start renovating, walk through your house with fresh eyes.

Ask yourself:

"Does this home feel clean, bright, current, and easy to live in?"

"Would I buy this home today? "

If the answer isn't an immediate YES, start there!

5. Declutter & De-Personalize

One of the highest-return improvements you can make costs very little: remove things. Overstuffed rooms can make even a beautiful home feel smaller.

Pack away:

o  Personal collections

o  Family photographs

o  Knickknacks

o  Seasonal decorations

o  Overflowing bookshelves
